Recently I was having trouble navigating to certain websites that I hosted. I knew the sites weren’t down to code issues so I called my hosting provider and asked them if there were problems on their end. There wasn’t and through troubleshooting, I discovered that my ISP (Cox Cable) was having issues with their DNS servers finding these websites.
I was told about switching to Google Public DNS. I followed the steps and switched my DNS servers from Cox to Google.
Problem solved! It appears Google spends more time ensuring their DNS servers are more reliable and up-to-date. Staying with Cox was keeping me from administrating my websites, as well as view a few others.
Thanks Google
